    Dustin Ferrara
    Dustin Ferrara founded Ferrara Equipment Company in 2012. He earned his
    Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2005.
    Upon graduating, Dustin went to work for Hertz Equipment, a well-known national
    equipment corporation, now known as HERC. Dustin started out as an inside Sales Associate in their Heavy Equipment division.  In just a short order he got promoted to outside sales dealing directly with customers in the field. Through out his career, Dustin built many valuable relationships with his customers by becoming a reliable partner in their business. It wasn’t long before Dustin’s success elevated him to Senior Sales Representative covering the central Virginia territory. Dustin loved this challenging position and took great pride in problem solving for his customers to ensure their success on site. However, as his customer base grew, so did their requests for additional products and services that were not always readily available through his employer. After much deliberation and the full support of his wife, Holly and two daughters, Reagan and Savannah, Dustin ended his 11-year career and opened the doors of Ferrara Equipment Company. Ferrara was established in an effort to fill a large void in the equipment industry. Customer service & reliability to deliver equipment ALL of the time was at the forefront of Ferrara’s mission. If you want it, we will get it, every time. Customer service is key to success for all parties. Ferrara has taken on many new suppliers and will continue to evolve based on the demands of customers.     John Yancey
    Business Manager
    John joined Ferrara Equipment Co. in April 2017 as the Business Manager. He
    graduated with a Marketing degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and
    has ten years experience in the equipment industry. Prior to joining Ferrara
    Equipment, John gained equipment knowledge at HERC Rentals where he served as a Senior Sales Coordinator at the Richmond location. He also served as a fleet team member for the Northeast and Southeast regions of the United States with a primary focus on equipment sales.
    Jim Southward
    Account Manager
    Jim joined Ferrara Equipment Co. in September 2017 as an Account Manager. He studied Marketing at Longwood University. He’s previously held sales, marketing and management positions covering a wide variety of solutions based sales. Prior to joining Ferrara Equipment Co., Jim gained equipment knowledge at Caliber Equipment where he served as a territory Sales manager for Virginia, Maryland and North Carolina. Jim has over ten years of experience in the industry and has developed a talent for customer service and is eager to assist you with any equipment needs.

    Inside Sales Representative
    Brian started with Ferrara Equipment co. in 2020. He graduated with a Agriculture degree from Virginia Tech. With 15 years experience in the Green Industry, he has managed projects and crews for one of the largest privately owned landscape companies in the region to one of the largest greenhouses in the world. Brian has experience with agricultural/ landscape machinery, small engines and their applications.
    He resides in Western Hanover County, Virginia with his wife, Dawn and three sons, William, Wayland and Briton. While Brian’s not working to get you fully equipped, his hobbies are hunting, gardening and motocross. His motto is treat others how you want to be treated.
